Alternator replacement Denso DAN1354

There are lots of reports of the alternator on the IS250 failing. I guess mine lasted a good amount of time. It's given me over 178K miles over 15 years. So it's a good time to change. It hasn't completely failed but I have got the symptoms of the burning diodes and the clutch pulley has also seized up.

I decided to replace with a genuine Denso part. I purchased a genuine Denso DAN1354 alternator for £199.

If anyone is changing their alternator, always play it safe and disconnect the negative terminal on the battery, otherwise you risk frying the fuseable link which costs a good amount of money and is a bit of work changing out.
